The source archive contains the application source, project.yml, signing
entitlements, command-line tools, tests, scripts and GPLv3 license.

Requirements: macOS, Xcode (the distributed Mac beta was compiled using
Xcode 27.1 beta), and XcodeGen. Install these tools from their official sources.

Extract the source archive and run:
  xcodegen generate
  xcodebuild -project Mice.xcodeproj -scheme MiceHost \
    -configuration Release -destination 'generic/platform=macOS' \
    -derivedDataPath build ARCHS='arm64 x86_64' ONLY_ACTIVE_ARCH=NO \
    CODE_SIGNING_ALLOWED=NO build

The local unsigned build is in build/Build/Products/Release/Mice.app.
For your own signed build, configure your own Apple development/signing team.
Developer ID signing and notarization require your own appropriate credentials;
none are included. Local modified builds may require re-granting macOS permissions.
